I was born and raised right here in Manatee County Florida and lived here all of my life, with the exception of the three years I lived in New Mexico. I moved to New Mexico after the construction market collapsed and married my life-long friend, my wife and mother of our young son. I have been a cabinet installer since 1999 and also honed my skills in trim carpentry and remodeling homes. While in New Mexico, I was a Maintenance Supervisor for a 280-unit apartment community, responsible for vendor management, maintenance staff, interior/exterior maintenance, pool/spa compliance, repairs and make-ready completion. Also while in New Mexico, I operated a home inspection business where I became certified in: Safe Practices for Home Inspectors, Residential Standards Procedures, Pools and Spas, Moisture Intrusion, HVAC Systems, Structural Issues, Exterior Inspections, Residential Plumbing Overview, Residential Electric Inspections, Customer Service and Communication

Jana Hancock
I was born and raised in Michigan where I lived for my first 26 years. My family background was the custom-home building profession. I moved to New Mexico where I began a 17-year career in residential property management. I became a national instructor for the property management industry after learning the business from top to bottom in every aspect of operations. I provided homes to people with a diverse range of needs and wants. Every day of my career, I strived to instill a trust of myself and the service I provided to all of the renters of over 1800 units I managed. My residents experienced the comfort of good-nights of sleep knowing that with me as their manager of their home, they can rest easy even when things in their homes inevitably go wrong. Preventive maintenance through personal observance and being proactive rather than reactive is what my daily mission is for all of the homes I care for. I will always offer a personal touch to my clients, as your home is your personal investment worth taking every precaution necessary to keep those inevitable issues that home ownership brings.
